Board of Directors

Board President: Martha Peacock

Martha enjoys painting (oil is her favorite medium), hiking in the Rocky Mountains, studying dreams and the mysterious workings of the unconscious and relishing in the joy her grand daughters bring to her life. Martha received her master’s and doctorate degrees in mythological studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Her educational training lends itself well to digging down deep to the perennial root of unquestioned thoughts and behaviors in order to unearth fresh perspectives.

From 1997 - 2017, Bob provided weekly lectures for the Jungian Circle in Denver, a group dedicated to the spiritual and religious implications of Jungian theory. For over 35 years, Bob’s main area of interest has been the application of Jungian thought to social justice and public health; his presentations, programs, and curricula have impacted thousands of people across the United States. He currently serves as Treasurer of BFJ and as a lay minister at Highlands Church Denver.

Dr. Jennifer Favell, PhD, LPC

I am a trauma and grief therapist with 30 years of experience, now in private practice in Boulder, CO. My deep interest in Jungian depth psychology started as a girl when I read a book the librarian allowed me to check out from the adult stacks. It was about sand play. Since then, my formal training includes an M.A. in Early Childhood Education (Stanford), an M.A. in Counseling Psychology (Pacifica Graduate Institute) and a Ph.D. focusing on mother-infant attachment (University of Washington). I’m a lifelong student. I’ve had several rewarding professional positions, rich in people, opportunities and meaning. I am honored to serve on the Board of The Boulder Friends of Jung.
